A native New Yorker, James moved to the Fort Myers area 5 years ago. After working for many years in various customer service positions, he decided to find a career. After much consideration, James followed his calling into the beauty industry. Upon enrollment in The Salon Professional Academy, he knew instantly he had made the right choice. He excelled in school and received many awards and recognition for his hard work and dedication. Prior to graduation he was hand selected by Chris Lewis to work directly under him as his assistant. Once in the salon James continued to receive additional class room style education, as well as hands on and observational experience, from all the talented staff members. He is currently Pure NV BKT Certified in Keratin Treatments, Hotheads Certified in hair extensions, a master at tinsel & feather extensions as well as being Redken Specialist Certified in Design and Color. He looks forward to a long and prosperous career with Vincent Salon & Spa and can’t wait for you to sit in his chair!

A local Lee County Floridian since 1990, Mitchell Matamala has proudly been an associate of Vincent Salon and Spa since August, 2010. Educated from The Salon Professional Academy in North Fort Myers, Florida, Mitchell has recieved excellent training and skilled expertise utilizing Redken products, along with: knowledge in Pureology and Bumble & Bumble. With his ability to demonstrate tremendous focus, Mitchell rose as a leader amongst his peers, showcasing true talent and passion within this fierce industry. This Vincent Salon & Spa stylist's greatest strengths are with color and the most current fashion trends. He is Pure NV BKT certified and Redken Specialist Certified in Design and Color. Mitchell is motivated by constant education and is focused in becoming a National Redken Artist.
